Conference Groupies!!

Once again we meet as Conference Groupies to enjoy a weekend away... with the beautiful Bulldog Cliffs ... to listen to our wonderful Prophets! We were missing a few of our regulars and look forward to next year having two full houses again.

We are filled with a peace and new determination after hearing the messages that were given over the 2 days. My favorite quote was "Don't let the problems become more important than the person to be loved." My favorite Apostle is Elder Eyring... And my favorite Hymn they sang was "I Know that My Redeemer Lives".

Breck, Katie, Marnae, Danielle & my Mom took really good notes. John, Brant & Guy relaxed and listened...at least John & Guy did. hee ehe. Brant was awake for most of it. :) Izaak, Dayson & Braxton enjoyed the conference packet full of word searches and Bingo... We all enjoyed the plethora of good food and yes... CANDY!! AND... I LOVED CROSSTITCHING!!!

The Horesje family and Guy Soper joined us on Sunday. This made our weekend as we were going thru conference groupie withdrawals... And we also had the treat of having Rick and Betty Sue join us for Sunday Dinner. Quite the crowd..but sooo much fun.

Finally!! What a great week end. Looks like lots of fun was had by all. Tell Brant not to feel bad as I see most of conference myself, hehe. The pictures are great!

Past "Koo"

No we did not steal this tree from Charlie Brown...however it does have the same sentimental value. This Tree is used in our Scout Court of Honors and is called a "Koo" Tree. The boys and leaders use this tree to hang reminders of the service they witness around them.
I love the idea of recognizing the service given to my family and what better way than having our own "Koo Korner".
The thanks I wish to give this week is to the Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders who dedicate their time for my boys. How fortunate the Bevell Family is to have the support of so many who love and help teach our boys how to make good choices and honor their Heavenly Father. Thanks so very much... We are truly blessed because of their service.
